Utah Genius Awards to Recognize Brilliant Minds in Utah

Salt Lake City, UT (Vocus) April 6, 2010 -- Top inventors and creative geniuses across the state of Utah will receive the recognition they richly deserve at the Utah Genius (http://www.utahgenius.com/) 2010 awards luncheon at noon on May 5, 2010 at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City (www.utahgenius.com). This year's Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Sheri L. Dew, CEO of Deseret Book. Opening remarks will be provided by Governor Herbert, and the keynote speaker will be Doug Fabrizio of KUER.

Building on the success of the premier event last year, the 2010 awards ceremony will include some additional award categories over last year as well as an Inventor's Showcase where patented inventions will be displayed allowing attendees to see the level of innovation in the state of Utah.

The Utah Genius event is presented by Bateman IP Law Group (http://www.batemanip.com/) and Utah CEO (http://www.utahceomagazine.com/).

The defendants, Summit County, Summit County Clerk and Utah Lt. Governor Gary Herbert were served on Monday 09-24-2007 and have 20 days to respond.
